Introduction
Curiocity Encounters: Singapore Night Festival 2022
Experience Singapore’s familiar spaces and venues in fresh ways at this year’s Singapore Night Festival! Visit Curiocity Encounters and unearth old and new stories of the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct through a series of creative installations, programmes, tours and digital content.
Curiocity Encounters: Singapore Night Festival 2022 draws on the Singapore collections from the National Library Board and its partners, enabling them to be accessed outside of the libraries and archives in innovative ways. Presented in varied formats both in-person and online, we invite you to be inspired, to discover, learn and engage with our island’s stories.
This showcase will run from 19 August to 27 August 2022 at the National Archives Building and across several locations in the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct.
Curiocity is part of NLB’s Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2025 (LAB25), a five-year journey of our next phase of transformation. Curiocity contributes towards our role as Singapore Storytellers, which aims to nurture a stronger appreciation of the Singapore experience by eliciting curiosity and wonder, while shaping an understanding of Singapore’s heritage and identity in the process.
